Health Care:

As a full service veterinary hospital we can provide many diagnositc procedures including radiographs, electrocardiographs, and a wide range of laboratory tests.  In addition, we have a network of specialists with whom we confer and can refer our patients as needed.  Surgery, dental care, pet selection, behavior advice, nutritional needs, and even beginning puppy socialization classes are available.

Preventive Care

Our goal is the prevention of disease in our animal friends whenever possible. Vaccines are started at 6-8 weeks of age and are given in a series. A physical examination should be performed at least yearly in younger pets and more frequently in older pets to detect small problems before they become serious. We recommend regular fecal examinations to screen for internal parasites, some which can be harmful to humans as well as animals. Heartworm disease is a risk to dogs and cats in our area, so screening and monthly prevention are recommended. You will be contacted when your pet is due for preventive care.
Advanced Services:

As we all know, being in the hospital is no fun.  But a little extra TLC makes your pet's stay enjoyable.

Comfortable beds, pain medication, close monitoring and kind words and cuddles are provided.  Feel free to contact us daily for a progress report.

A detailed explanation of home care will be provided upon your pet's release.  Once you have your pet home a follow-up phone call will answer any additional questions.  And, of course, please call us if any questions arise.
